Coaching

Andrzej Witek after a race

I’m a graduate of the Academy of Physical Education in Wrocław, where I built up my knowledge of physiology, biomechanics, sports theory and many other fields that form the foundation of how the human body develops.

Right now, the runners I work with range from marathoners going under 2:25 to first-timers chasing a sub-5:00 debut. I coach athletes all across the country, as well as people training beyond Poland’s borders. For all the differences in level, location, age and goals, everyone adds their own brick to the AW – SZYBCIEJ – Team — and that makes me a better coach, while my athletes get to enjoy the satisfaction of brand-new personal bests.

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Runners training

MOUNTAIN RUNNING

One-on-one online coaching, where together we’ll set your goals and map out a plan for your progress. I’ll assess your strengths and weaknesses and build a training programme tailored to your needs and training capacity – one that also fits your preferred activities and your weekly schedule.

Runners training

ROAD RUNNING

Online coaching that starts with a deep dive into your training history and results so far, followed by a personalised development plan. A programme shaped around your individual strengths and built around the training time you actually have.

RUNNING CAMPS

Training trips where we work on your running technique and fitness in some of the most iconic training spots in Poland and around the world. It’s the perfect mix of real training value and time spent with people who share the same passion – all under the eye of a qualified coaching team.

Your training plan includes:

The intake interview

Questions from me to you: about your training so far, lifestyle, goals, nutrition, injuries — and plenty of other essentials we need for us to work well together.

Assessment

A clear picture of where you stand today – and your realistic (time-based) chances of reaching the goal we’ve set.

The big-picture plan

A visual or table-based overview of how we’ll train – and why exactly this approach is right for you.

The detailed plan

A training schedule for the week ahead (delivered 5–6 days in advance), with precise paces, distances and notes on exactly how each session should be run.

Race analysis

Both tune-up races and your target races – essential for tracking your training progress.

Wrap-up & review

A report on how the training unfolded and what we achieved together – plus a good deal of experience gained on both sides.

Teaming up with a coach is a big, often game-changing, step in your development as a runner. That’s exactly what I’m here for: to help you through it.

Drop me a message and I’ll get back to you with all the details.

Beyond coaching, I also run annual running camps for amateur runners.

Every sport (even an individual one) comes down to teamwork. That’s why I organize running camps where we build our skills together, so we can all run faster and farther down the road.

Every camp is a one-of-a-kind chance to meet new athletes who (just like me) want to keep growing and chasing better results. But I know better than anyone that sport isn’t only about numbers. At their core, these camps are about good vibes, mutual motivation, and people brought together by a shared passion.
