I’m Andrzej Witek
– and I run. Fast.

Years of long, daily training and dozens of races have turned my dreams into reality. Every win showed me one thing: I want more. To run farther, run better, run faster. Because for me, running is more than a sport – it’s what keeps me moving.

A hundred podium glories — from small local races all the way to third place at the OCC.

It all started with a bet: a mate wagered I couldn’t “run a marathon in 140 minutes.” That dare got me to my very first training session. Eleven years later, I crossed the finish line at the Seville Marathon in 2:16:53.

Once I’d fulfilled myself on street races, it was time to take on a real force of nature — the mountains. And that’s exactly where I found my strongest terrain. Seventh place at the World Mountain Running Championships says it all.

Train
with me

As a running coach, my job is simple: help my athletes grow and turn their dreams into real, reachable goals. I’m with you at every stage of the journey – whatever your level is.

Right now I coach everyone: from runners dipping under 2:30 in a marathon to complete beginners chasing their first shot at the king of distances. My athletes come from all across Poland – and from beyond its borders, too.

Running
camps

Every sport (even an individual one) comes down to teamwork. That’s why I organize running camps where we build our skills together – so we can all run faster and farther down the road.

Every camp is a one-of-a-kind chance to meet new athletes who (just like me) want to keep growing and chasing better results. But I know better than anyone that sport isn’t only about numbers. At their core, these camps are about good vibes, mutual motivation, and people brought together by a shared passion.

Day in, day out, I race for the international ASICS Trail Team.

Daily training, thousands of kilometres logged, dozens of marathons and hundreds of mountain trails – over the years, it all led to a call-up to the Polish national team for the World Mountain Running Championships.

Career highlights

I’ve got several Polish Championship medals to my name – including national titles at the long distance and in ultra running. Steady progress on the home scene let me reach even further: I’ve represented Poland at the European and World Championships, and at the OCC I proudly took my place on the podium.

Working with a coach

A lot of time has passed since my very first training run. And yet, year after year, my personal bests keep getting faster. How is that possible? It all comes down to one thing: I pair genuine passion with real education…

Andrzej Witek’s YouTube channel

My passion for running – and for sharing what I know about training – grew into a YouTube channel.

It runs separately from the blog you’re reading right now, but it’s well worth a look: it rounds out the full picture of who I am.
